NFL Week 6 Picks Against The Spread 2021: Predictions ATS, Betting Odds, Matchups

For the first time in the 2021 NFL season, favorites are coming off a winning week against the spread. Only one game on the Week 6 schedule features a betting line of fewer than three points.

Here are picks against the spread for every game in Week 6, as well as updated betting odds. Betting lines come from FanDuel Sportsbook.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-7) at Philadelphia Eagles

Injuries to Tampa Bay’s defense could make it difficult for the Buccaneers to win by more than one score. Tom Brady is dealing with a sore thumb. The Bucs are 0-2 against the spread on the road. The Eagles rank in the top 10 in both yards per play and yards allowed per play.

Prediction ATS: Philadelphia

Miami Dolphins (-3.5) vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (London)

Jacksonville can’t beat anyone, but the Dolphins probably shouldn’t be favored by more than a field goal outside of Miami. The Dolphins’ offense has been disappointing, ranking second-to-last in scoring, total yards and yards per play.

Prediction ATS: Jacksonville

Houston Texans (+9.5) at Indianapolis Colts

The Texans have been competitive in their two games against teams with losing records. Houston beat Jacksonville and lost to New England by a field goal. Indianapolis hasn’t scored more than 27 points in a game and could have trouble winning comfortably.

Prediction ATS: Houston

Green Bay Packers (-4.5) at Chicago Bears

Aaron Rodgers is 20-5 against the Bears with just one loss at Soldier Field in the last decade. The reigning MVP has 10 touchdown passes and one interception since Week 2. Despite going 2-1 as a starter, Justin Fields has completed just 51.4% of his passes with no more than 218 yards from scrimmage in any one contest.

Prediction ATS: Green Bay

Kansas City Chiefs (-6.5) at Washington Football Team

Despite their 2-3 record, the Chiefs should beat Washington by at least a touchdown. Kansas City has lost to the AFC’s three-best teams, and they beat another Super Bowl contender in the Browns. The gap between Patrick Mahomes and Taylor Heinicke is massive.

Prediction ATS: Kansas City

Minnesota Vikings (-1) at Carolina Panthers

Kirk Cousins is the best quarterback in this game by a good margin. Sam Darnold’s hot start was aided by a soft schedule. Carolina’s quarterback has been picked off five times during the Panthers’ two-game losing streak. The Vikings are second in the NFL with 17 sacks.

Prediction ATS: Minnesota

Los Angeles Chargers (+3) at Baltimore Ravens

Both teams are 4-1, but Los Angeles has been more impressive through five games. Since winning in Washington to open the season, the Chargers have beaten the Chiefs and a pair of 3-2 teams. The Ravens needed minor miracles to avoid being upset by the winless Lions and 1-4 Colts. This is probably the best game of Week 6.

Prediction ATS: Los Angeles

Cincinnati Bengals (-3.5) at Detroit Lions

This might be the week that Detroit finally gets its first win under Dan Campbell. The Lions have lost two games on last-second field goals. Only one of Cincinnati’s games has been decided by more than three points.

Prediction ATS: Detroit

Los Angeles Rams (-10.5) at New York Giants

If a concussion prevents Daniel Jones from playing Sunday, the Giants have no chance. Most of New York’s top offensive players are dealing with injuries. That’s going to be a problem against the Rams, who lead the league in yards per play.

Prediction ATS: Los Angeles

Arizona Cardinals (+3) at Cleveland Browns

Arizona’s undefeated start to the season probably ends here. Cleveland’s league-leading rushing attack should have success against the Cardinals, who rank 31st in opponents’ yards per carry. Jarvis Landry is eligible to return from injured reserve for the Browns.

Prediction ATS: Cleveland

Las Vegas Raiders (+3.5) at Denver Broncos

Denver is already a difficult place to play for teams that are going well. The Raiders are in a downward spiral after losing their head coach and two straight games. The Broncos rank in the top three in yards allowed, points allowed and opponents’ yards per play.

Prediction ATS: Denver

Dallas Cowboys (-4) at New England Patriots

The Patriots might be able to keep this one close, similar to their 19-17 loss in Tom Brady’s return to New England. Dallas is averaging 40.3 points at home and 24.5 points on the road.

Prediction ATS: New England

Seattle Seahawks (+4.5) at Pittsburgh Steelers

The Seahawks are about to get an unpleasant look at what life is like without Russell Wilson. Seattle’s offense will struggle with Geno Smith under center against a Pittsburgh defense that’s held its own while facing some of the league’s best quarterbacks. No team has given up more yards than the Seahawks.

Prediction ATS: Pittsburgh

Buffalo Bills (-4.5) at Tennessee Titans

The Titans blew out the Bills 42-16 a year ago. Ryan Tannehill has probably been as good as Josh Allen in 2021, even if it hasn’t shown up in the stat sheet. Buffalo’s top-ranked defense will come back down to earth, at least somewhat, soon enough.

Prediction ATS: Tennessee

Season Record: 36-42-2
